A Bollywood beauty who always seems to steal the show at Cannes Film Festival and a topic which is always hot when it comes to Cannes is is without a doubt Aishwarya Rai fashion. Aishwarya first walked the Cannes red carpet to promote her film Devdas.
Showcasing a detailed yellow sari with statement gold jewellery, the actress looked both graceful and fashion foward.
Aishwarya shared the stage and spotlight with both Shah Rukh Khan and the filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali that night, making it one to rememeber. We love how extreme her jewellery was in contrast to her simpler outfit choice.
In 2006, Aishwarya Rai fashion again gave the fellow celebrities a run for their money, showcasing a deep blue Elie Saab gown on the Cannes red carpet. The actress looked beautifully classy in the flatteringly fitted off-shoulder dress that flared out perfectly at the end. She went for a simplictic and classic make-up and hair look teamed with a quirky statement snake necklace that we thought brought the outfit together perfectly!
Once again Aishwarya Rai fashion silenced the critics when she marched out at the Cannes Film festival in 2009. She wore a silver pleated gown with detailed embellishment and a stylish gelled back up do, teamed with a simple chic clutch. This look by Aishwarya was simply flawless. She looked naturally stylish and elegant and definitely stood out from the crowd.
After a huge amount of criticism came her way, Aishwarya blew everyone's mind wearing a gorgeous black gown with an embellished sheer waist in 2005. The Bollywood actress looked stunning on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet at the showcasing premiere of Lemming. Statement dangling earrings and a chic simple bracelet was the only jewellery she sported for the event. Her showstopping black gown consisted of a deep plunging neckline and detailed laced waist. Definitely one of our favourite looks that Aishwarya has sported at Cannes so far.
