The creator of Oh to Be a Muse , an inspirational fashion and style blog. A lot of my time is spent between fashion and writing, which is why fashion journalism is pretty much what she does for a living.
'Although I really, really love clothes and accessories, I don't really enjoy the idea of shopping, which might sound weird. I just want to miraculously have things without spending any time trying them on in store after store.'
My mood and other fashion bloggers inspire my style. Usually I find myself in leggings or skinny jeans, but I like to punch it up with dresses, skirts and rompers depending on what kind of mood I'm in. I get a lot of inspiration from fashion bloggers because they are always trying different things. My personal style is comfy chic because I like to look good and feel good as well.
Sometimes I just see something in my closet that screams "wear me" and that makes the process super easy. Other times, I have more of a process where I think how many times have I worn it already; am I looking for casual or chic; do I have to wear pumps or wedges, etc.
Always have options. If you're wearing heels, pack flats...and vice versa. You never know what situation you may end up in, so it's good to be prepared with various fashion options.
That's a tough one because I think everyone will have their opinion on who this should be, but I would have to go with Audrey Hepburn. She makes leggings, ballet flats and some sunnies look like haute couture.
I would never the house without lip gloss, my cell phone and my leather jacket. I'm pretty much addicted to glossing. In 2012, it's pretty hard to be out and about without a cell phone because I use it for checking emails, posting photos on Instagram, reading blog comments, and getting around town.
