03 rd May 2014

The 15th Annual International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) was held in Tampa on 26th April 2014. IIFA, also known as the Bollywood Oscars, was held for the first time in the United States of America.

Similar to the previous years, this year the awards night was star studded. It was an event where Bollywood glamour world met the Hollywood éclat. Celebrities were dressed in their best attires for this big event.

Here’s our list of the best and the worst dressed at the 15th Annual IIFA, 2014.

Best Dressed

Kareena Kapoor Khan

Kareena was wearing a black Giorgio Armani gown for the awards night. She was looking gorgeous. The black beauty completed her look with a black watch, nude make-up and a simple updo hair. Mrs. Khan was looking simple yet sophisticated.

Priyanka Chopra

The ‘Exotic’ singer, Priyanka was looking classy and elegant in the Monique Lhuillier gown. The back slit gown was complemented with smoky eyes, a pair of gold cuff bracelets, droplet earrings and an elegant hair updo. Ms. Chopra definitely owned the green carpet at IIFA.

Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone picked a fabulous red gown by a Lebanese Fashion Designer Zuhair Murad. Oxblood lipstick, Puffy hair updo and a flower ring complemented her lace gown. She was looking vivacious.

Worst Dressed

Preeti Desai

Preeti Desai picked a beige ruffled maxi dress paired with black heels. The entire outfit was so blah. It seems that she forgot that she was attending the Bollywood Oscars.

Gauahar Khan

Gauahar was wearing a red Ken Ferns gown. The piped corset was ill fitting and also the make- up and dress did not really do any justice to her outfit. We expected so much more from Gauahar Khan.

Swara Bhaskar

Swara was wearing a strapless green shimmery gown by Designer Badgley Mischka. Her dress seemed to perfectly camouflage with the green carpet so she was not very noticeable. The styling did not really make the outfit work at all.

Richa Chadda

Richa Chadda was dressed in a floral mesh dress by Indian designer Falguni and Peacock. There is no doubt that the dress was unique and interesting but it was probably worn for the wrong event. Sorry Ms. Chadda, the outfit was below average for IIFA
