With London Fashion Week coming to end just days before, everyone’s attention swiftly shifted from the fashion industry to the music industry, for the much loved Brit Awards 2015.
The Brit Awards may be known as the largest night in the UK music industry calendar, but it was US music stars Madonna, Taylor Swift and Kayne West who delivered the event's biggest music moments. All three stars delivered amazing performances at the 35th Brit Awards 2015, which is held yearly at London's O2 arena. There was one memorable moment in particular that soon got everyone talking, and that was Madonna's performance of "Living for Love" which involved a slight wardrobe malfunction resulting in a dramatic fall from the stage mid-song, causing the queen of pop to tumble to the floor!
In terms of fashion, similar to its American equal, the music-oriented Brit Awards definitely allows for more originality and flexibility when it comes to red carpet dress code. The looks aren’t just restricted to gowns; we saw a huge variety of styles from body hugging bodysuits, top and trouser combos, strappy bustier dresses over trousers and a lot more!
Rita Ora has been the belle of the ball recently as she continues to showcase amazing look after amazing look, and the Brit Awards 2015 were no different. She teamed the look with subtle and smoky make-up and soft slick back hair that complemented her classy look perfectly.
Taylor Swift blew everyone away with her appearance at the Brit Awards 2015 this year; the singer normally goes for extremely feminine outfits so this striking and sensual number was definitely a sight for sore eyes on the red carpet. The Roberto Cavalli gown was a work of art in its own right, using red crystals, beading, sequins, and intricate silk threads that made the embellished dragon that worked it’s way up the back of the slinky black dress appear three-dimensional. A definite favourite of ours!

Ellie Goulding opted away from the sultry dark colours that seemed a favourite on the red carpet this year at the Brit Award 2015, and opted for a pretty and feminine white gown with a flattering plunging neckline. The top of the dress with detailed with flower embellishment on sheer material, which showed off her petite figure. Marina Diamandis’s stunning embellished gown was a clear favourite for us - the shimmering dress was both sexy and stylish and featured gorgeous intricate detail. FKA twigs is one of the UK music scene's biggest new stars, and has definitely made her mark in the fashion world so far with her quirky and unique wardrobe choices. She continued this title with the weirdly wonderful outfit that she showcased at this year's Brit Awards 2015.
The singer, whose high fashion and exclusive style goes hand-in-hand with her own personal brand and style of music, wore a strappy bustier number on her top half teamed with a highly embellished beaded trouser and skirt combo. She paired her daring look with long straight locks and quirky buns, as she posed with ease on the red carpet.
Whereas most of the celebrities went down the fancy gown route at the Brit Awards 2015, Cara Delevinge went for a more casual look in skinnies, a loose blouse, and a stylish hat. Cara often goes for more unconventional outfits at events but always seems to look amazing and stand out from the star-studded crowd. We were slightly on the fence with this look as it could be slightly too casual for this type of event, but she some how pulled it off with her effortlessly cool persona, we also loved the open burgundy skirt and skinny trouser combo!
