The Celebrity Summer Fashion Guide from the Serpentine Summer Fashion Party 2015
22 nd Jul 2015

The long awaited summer season is now in full swing, and so is the celebrity summer style! But amongst the influx of summer fashion, it’s hard to pinpoint the best bits, as well as the biggest trends. To make this a little easier, The Serpentine Summer Party has now taken place, showcasing a spectacular amount of summer style. The Serpentine Summer Fashion Party is a recurrent event staple on the London celebrity social calendar, and the perfect occasion for the capital's elite style setters to showcases exactly how to dress for the summer season in the chicest way possible.

With Christopher Kane as one of this year's main hosts, his pieces were naturally a favourite amongst the star studded guests, including the likes of Alexa Chung, Lara Stone and Poppy Delevingne, who all looked fabulous in Christopher Kane party pieces.

Have a look below to see our favourite celebrity summer style from the fabulous Serpentine Summer Fashion Party:

First up on favourite celebrity summer style list is Erin O’Connor, who looked as glamorous as ever in a stunning gown by Erdem, featuring multiple summery tones of blues, yellows, reds and greens. The unique gown featured layered material detailing that resembled an art piece as much as a dress!  She teamed the gown with stylish tie-up heels and a simple black clutch. In terms of hair and make-up, Erin went for a chic slick back up do, barely there make-up and a bright coral lip, creating an oh-so stylish look that is perfect for the summer months.

Next up on our favourite celebrity summer style list, is the beautiful Poppy Delevingne. Poppy was one of the ladies that went for a Christopher Kane party dress, and looked fabulous! The sheer gown featured intricate navy and black illustrated detail and a simple black waist tie. The fashionista teamed the dress with a black bralet and staple black heels. On the make-up and hair front, the model went for a chic middle parting, smoky eyes and a deep purple lip. We wouldn’t normally suggest such a dark lip for summer, but Poppy pulled it off perfectly!

Toni Garrn had to be on our top celebrity summer style list with this gorgeous look at the Serpentine Summer Fashion Party.  The beauty wore a nude Mary Katrantzou dress with embellished detailing on sheer fabric. This look had to be one of our all time favourites from the event for it’s elegance and femininity, the perfect summer combo! She teamed the dress with pretty nude heels and a quirky pastel blue box clutch. We also loved Toni’s summer hair and make-up choice with a wet look half up, half down hair-do and a statement red lip, we’ll definitely be trying out this look at the next summer party!

Another of our favourites on the top celebrity summer style list is Suki Waterhouse, who looked like a pastel princess in a beautiful aqua blue Valentino gown, with plunge neck detailing. This look stood out to us for it’s simplicity and elegance, and has to be our favourite dress of all! She teamed the looked a silver clutch and chunky heels, which complimented the outfit perfectly. Suki went for very natural make-up and hair, giving the entire ensemble an innocent and almost pixie like affect.

Last but not least, Naomie Harris made our favourite celebrity summer style list from the event with a pretty in pink ensemble. Naomie was another lady who opted for a Christopher Kane dress, and pulled it off beautifully. The pink mini dress featured a flattering plunge neck and statement black panel detailing. She completed the look with a black circular clutch and a simple pair of black strappy heels. The actress gave the look a Barbie essence with long voluminous locks and a soft pink lip. For you all girly girls out there, this one’s for you ladies!
