Creations by fifteen designers redefined Indian fashion through their presentations on Day 3. The show brought to life Indian fabrics in a myriad colours, textures and silhouettes.
The day began with some insight into the future of global fashion through the ‘fashion forward’ talk show. Anamika Khanna’s debut ready to wear collection presented in association with Spaces concluded the day.
The pro designer used the ‘Indian at heart, International in spirit’ concept in her unconventional contemporary attires. She summarised the spirit of Amazon India Fashion Week, ‘Make in India’.
Before the show ended we got a glimpse of a couple of celebrities in show stopping attires. Pernia Qureshi walked for Archana Rao while Lauren Gottlieb sashayed for Nikhita Tandon.
Pernia looked stunning in a white shirt paired with a full length A-line skirt. The peach skirt layered with an ivory sheer fabric looked dramatic with a highlighting belt. The skirt cascaded below and the belted top gave a hint of structure. The delicate coloured outfit accessorised with three string kundan necklace and slick straight hair made Pernia look like an icon of class.
Lauren Gottlieb walked as a showstopper for Nikhita Tandon in a white asymmetrical dress. Her white dress looked like a work of art as it changed lengths from front to the back. The hemline created an interesting fall with its high and low look. The plunging neckline and waist belt added more interest to the outfit.
The fashionista, Shreya Kalra, also walked for Nikhita Tandon in a sweet- heart neckline, white fitted crop- top. The top was complemented with a long flowing printed skirt with a slit.
Along with the mesmerising outfits of day 3, the celebrities on the ramp made it a fascinating day.
