The Tony Awards has recently taken place and it not only brought spectacular fashion, but also spectacular red carpet hairstyles and make-up! The Tony Awards are the Oscars of the theatre realm - one remarkable night where Broadway's biggest stars all come together to rejoice the past year on the stage. The night ended up being an extremely good evening for the Brits on Broadway, with Dame Helen Mirren being named best actress for her impressive portrayal of Queen Elizabeth II in “The Audience”, and Alex Sharp being named best actor for his role in ‘The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time’ - a play that began in London's West End, and also gained awards for best directing and even best play.
Here’s are favourite fabulous red carpet hairstyles and make-up looks from the night:
First up on our favourite red carpet hairstyles list is Amanda Seyfried in a gorgeous black and gold Oscar de la Renta dress with lace detailing. We loved her daring hair and make-up combo – a slick back up do with severe smoky eyes, a match made in heaven!
Rose Byrne wore a red gown from the Delpozo autumn/winter 2015 collection and was another favourite hair and make-up look of ours; she showcased a stunning ombre bob with soft and glamorous curls. She teamed her look with a staple bright red lip that completed the entire look perfectly, both stylish and elegant!
Of course Jennifer Lopez had to be on our favourite red carpet hairstyles and make-up list! The superstar looked incredible in a blue Valentino Couture gown with intricate gold detailing. We loved her golden locks and side swept fringe teamed with a berry lip and smoky eyes, a clear winner for us!
Joan Smalls went for a unique straight side do, which she pulled off fabulously. She teamed her down do with neutral make-up and a striking Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci autumn/winter 2015 gown, completed with stylish gladiator style black stilettos.
Last but not least on our favourite red carpet and hairstyles list is the beautiful Bella Hadid, wore a simple but stunning white Prabal Gurung autumn/winter 2015 gown. She teamed her look with a complete slicked back up-do and neutral make-up, only someone with a face like Bella could pull off a daring look like this, but my god does she pull it off well!
