The 60th Filmfare Awards 2015 have returned and it was certainly worth the wait! Bollywood stars assembled in Mumbai to rejoice the talent and love of Indian cinema.
The best (and worst!) of Bollywood fashion was out in full force at the event - while the stars flaunted their designer outfits and twirled in their gorgeous gowns, everyone was dressed to impress.
Most opted for formal Indian designer wear or gowns for the special occasion, while some went for more unique outfit options. So who were the show-stoppers and who got it completely wrong? Here is our best and worst dressed list for the star-studded event.
Kajol’s princess style gown in dusty pink with gold detailing definitely stole our hearts. She looked gorgeous in the glittering gown and teamed it with a statement dark lip and side swept loose ponytail, which is bang on trend at the moment!
Sonam Kapoor has to be another star of the show for us, she looked amazing in in this gorgeous Indian designer wear which included a slinky beige 2 piece with a lace embroidered bralet and silky skirt. Her outfit was perfectly teamed with a matching sheer cape and layered up statement gold jewellery, just beautiful!
Deepika Padukone stood out to us with this stunning white gown with a unique waterfall silhouette, lace embroidered body and simple white heels. She teamed the look with a classic up-do and dark lip, a perfect combo!
Nargis Fakhri got it slightly wrong in her overbearing multi-coloured blouse teamed with a pair of bright blue trousers. The look could have worked if it was toned down slightly, but teamed with a full fringe and very neutral make-up it certainly didn’t work.
Tanishaa Mukerji was another star that slightly disappointed. The outfit had potential, but we weren’t fans of the yellow under colour teamed with the black leather! We did however like her simple scrapped back up-do.
Vidya Balan opted for very traditional Designer Indian wear, but unfortunately the saree she chose was completely unflattering and badly draped, it seemed to overpower her figure rather than accentuate her assets. The extreme use of shiny gold didn’t help either!
