Myoho is a womenswear label launched in August 2007, by Kiran Jaisinghani and Meghna Agarwal. Kiran Jaisinghani studied fashion at SNDT University and London College of Fashion, while Meghna Agarwal is an alumna of National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT).
Their style sensibilities represent garments that are easy, relaxed and organic. Each Myoho ensemble is derived from a storehouse of earthy Indian handlooms.
Maintaining a definite contemporary language, Myoho attempts to blend the essence of Indian handlooms with a subtle modern sensibility dipped in a palette dominated in magical Indian tones. With a unique touch of delicate details, simple harmonies and rich textures, Myoho epitomises a relaxed sensibility and an eternal feminity. Ajrakh block prints, dyes and bold floral appliqués on handlooms are signature accents of Myoho ensembles.
The designer duo retails their collection at various high-end stores like Ensemble, Melange, Fuel, Ffolio and Collage and in metro cities such as Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmadabad, Chennai, Bangalore and Kolkata.
The designers present their fresh take on Indian textiles every year at well known fashion events like Lakme Fashion Week and Amazon India Fashion Week. Their collections are unique aesthetic revelations and they have consistently stunned audiences, particularly in notable presentations such as Bookmark (LFW AW 2009), The Butterfly Effect (LFW AW 2010) and most recently Maisa (Lakme AW 2015).
Bollywood actresses Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Shraddha Kapoor can be counted as fans of the designer duo and are often seen wearing Myoho outfits. Myoho is a pure celebration of ethnic fabrics transformed into modern artworks.
