The Indian bride is undergoing a makeover - at least that's what designer Tarun Tahiliani's latest couture collection suggests. Brides have moved away from the traditional reds and dares to show some skin in lehengas with slits and cholis with plunging necklines.
As the fifth edition of the Tarun Tahiliani Couture Exposition began at the Pavilion, DLF Emporio, on Thursday, an understated side of the designer came to the fore. "There is a different lightness in the clothes this time. Sadly, they are not less expensive," he says.
