Indian fashion designers have several annual occasions to showcase their creation, while similar independent events for jewellery designers are very rare. The ongoing International India Jewellery Week, taking place in Mumbai, is the ideal show for giving more visibility to jewellery brands, says designer Sumit Sawhney of Apala.
