On the evening of July 2nd 2011, Cinnamon Kitchen, the sister restaurant to the acclaimed Cinnamon Club in Westminster hosted a dinner for sixty people with an exclusive fashion retailer Strand of Silk, all proceeds from which were donated to the Japanese Red Cross to raise funds to help those affected by the March 11 earthquake and tsunami.
The fashion show had a very elegant feel featuring low lighting and a quiet music video in the background. Our models wore our collections from Eina Ahluwalia, Siddartha Tylter, Abraham & Thakore and Tarun Tahiliani beautifully with fantastic style.
We showcased only a few of our summer collections to give the viewers a feel as to what we have to offer and we were delighted to receive great feedback. Our collections are a fusion of Western silhouettes and Eastern influences of exquisite materials and intricate embroidery. The fashion show was an amazing chance for us to show our newest collections.
The Japanese Red Cross Charity Fashion Show was a great event in aid of an even greater cause and as a retailer it was a pleasure to be a part of it.
