Indian actress Diya Mirza looked radiant in her Shyamal and Bhumika bridal outfit at Lakme Fashion Week. She was wearing a red zardosi covered lehenga, a shimmering dupatta and a small velvet choli.
Shyamal and Bhumika took their inspiration from the splendor of Maharajas along with 16th century couture to create their new collection, named “A Royal Procession”. There was a captivating mix of embroidery, regal touches and contemporary colours in this collection. The silhouettes for women included overlapping jackets, lehenga sarees, collared blouses and jama-inspired cholis. As for the men’s collection, it was mainly composed of bundgalas, sherwanis, churidars, bundies and colorful turbans.
The designer duo definitely used precious and luxurious fabrics to design their new collection – from raw silk and velvet to crepe, they all gave a sumptuous touch to the silhouettes, in line with the sensational collection.
