Fashion Power House Satya Paul Launches Home Collection
03 rd Nov 2015

The brand Satya Paul was first established in 1985 and has since come to be considered one of the leading designer labels in India, with their saree collections being associated with the likes of Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan’s wife Gauri. This year, the Fashion power house Satya Paul celebrates three decades of success in the Indian fashion industry by launching its very own home decor collection fittingly named, Satya Paul Home.

The Autumn Winter 2015 collection of Satya Paul features a vast range of vibrant colours and beautiful designs, as well as its brand new bed throws and cushion covers. With the chilly festive season quickly approaching in the west, the first home collection incorporates classic leopard and paisley patterns as well as some more contemporary designs including rose petal printings, vibrant brush strokes and some interesting colour blocking. Satya Paul’s palette is an exciting range of colours, mainly consisting of madder, ochre and aquamarine blended in with deep sunset ombres contrasted with ivory and beige.

Satya Paul was originally born in Leigha in Pakistan and migrated to India during the partition. Despite being a predominantly self taught artist, he has worked extremely hard to become a pioneer for fashion designers across India. Satya Paul also benefits from being educated in a number of different skills including art, design and even classical music. He travelled to multiple villages across India to work alongside weavers and learn from them, turning their crafts into sellable, high quality designer products that would eventually lead to the launch of the his brand ‘Satya Paul’ in 1985.

Satya Paul has since become a brand to be reckoned with, with over 41 Satya Paul stores, and over 1500 retail points globally.
