The couturier designer Rohit Bal, decided to move on the “democratization of fashion” and created a special collection created in collaboration with the major apparel brand BIBA. The launch part to present 'BIBA by Rohit Bal' was held in the the Capital at The Lodhi hotel.
In a recent interview for Mail Today, he said, "As a designer, I feel that this collaboration is a great step forward for Indian designers with their prêt-a-porter collections. It's a great way to reach out to many more people because you have the advantage of selling at so many stores."
The clothes are priced between Rs 8,900 and Rs 20,000 and the collection included anarkalis, bandhgala shrug jackets and churidar-kameez combos. The designer added "I've put in a lot of effort to see that there is no compromise on the look, styling or feel of the Rohit Bal garment, just because it is being sold at a lesser price".
