Designer Rajesh Pratap Singh showcased his denim inspired "Blue Blood" collection at Wills India Fashion Week Spring/ Summer 2015. The designer also uses the fabric in its pure form to keep the collection completely eco-friendly. He believes that his collection should be completely natural.
His collection displayed his admiration for the versatality and rawness of denim. There were a group of people that were wearing denims on an elevated dais while models lit up the runway wearing Singh's stunning creations. There was also an aged gentleman who walked down the runway - a long time employee of the designer.
Rajesh Pratap Singh uses his love for denims in a number of ways incorporating the fabric in tunics, denim pants, skirts and dresses. The pieces were primarily loose and flowing as Singh believed that extremely fitted styles wouldn't have worked with the fabric.
The show also saw polka appliques, patchwork jackets, chikan embroideries and innovation used in the fabrics like stainless steed blending in with denim and khadi linen work.
