This homecoming for Neeta Lulla involves two rather traditional styles - Kanjeevaram and Kalamkari. Her latest collection includes these traditional styles! First, there is the Kanjeevaram collection, which is inspired from the south of India, and is a style that has evolved in recent years. Previously, the constituent frames were very thick. Neeta Lulla has therefore revisited in a new, more chic and contemporary style. She pays tribute to the heritage fabric, Kanjeevaram, and redefines the Srikalahasti style of Kalamkari. The Kalamkari collection is traditional and also represents marriage and wedding. For this collection, she has given back a youthful touch to the collection with a contemporary style. Today, it is combined with uppada to create a very soft and sensual feel to it without losing its appeal. She has reinvented these two styles by offering a more modern image, while drawing on her traditional Indian roots.
