The Indian Bridal Fashion Week 2012 that took place at the Aamby Valley City as every year marked the 19th season of this fabulous show. This event that celebrates one of the most auspicious occasions in India – a wedding - make a significant impact to the business of fashion though the shows and trends seen. The Indian Bridal Fashion Week 2012 showcased upcoming fashion trends in the bridal industry through numerous fashion shows with very talented designers. The show also included lifestyle products available in the country.
The country's top designers like Anjalee and Arjum Kapoor, Jyotsna Tiwari, Tarun Tahiliani, Ashima Leena, Falguni & Shane Peacock, Narendra Kumar Ahmed … were presenting their signature collections and this time it was Meera and Muzaffar Ali’s Jamazeb collection that was one of the most stunning bridal collections. The pair brought in all the glitz, glamour, their craft and culture into their beautiful creation with their rich fabrics made of velvet, lace and silk.
For brides who liked traditional craft and style, the “Jamazeb” collection by Meera and Muzaffar Ali offered the perfect choice. For men, the wear was restrained with just quilted jackets, waistcoats, bundies, five button mandarin collar coats or velvet quilted sherwanis in masculine tones.
This event not only showcased talented designers, but also famous and amazing models to present the various collections. Effectively, the very gorgeous Bollywood actress Nargis Fakhri who was the showstopper for JJ Valaya’s was clicked as she glided down the ramp at the grand finale held at Hotel Grand Hyatt in Mumbai. This one said that her dress makes her feel like a princess and the jewellery makes her feel ‘wow’! She added “He (JJ Valaya) is an awesome designer and I love all his clothes; so, I am super happy that I am walking for him!”
Moreover the Pantaloons Femina Miss India Earth 2012, Prachi Mishra, was also there to present the new couture collection of Ashima-Leena. And everybody will agree on the fact that she looked ravishing as she walked the ramp in a beautiful red suit.
The second season of India Bridal Week 2012 witnessed grandeur and innovation in a different scale of creative canvas, giving each designer a platform of paradise to present their collections in the most majestic comportment. Weddings today are easily the most extravagant occasion in India and today's scenario a wedding has also become a lifestyle statement for the rich and famous.
