The HSBC Colombo Fashion week took place from the 24 to 26 February 2012 at the Colombo Hilton. With the aim of providing commercial opportunities for local fashion labels and designers, HSBC CFW collaborated with 5 retailers this year, namely Trunk, Cantaloupe Boutique, Aakshii, Melache and Cotton Collection creating a designer/retailer program for fashion consumers in Sri Lanka.
Homegrown talent such as Darshi, KT Brown, Yolanda, FouzulHameed, Sonali Fernando, Ramona, and Upekha were on the ramp again this year alongside local brands such as String Hopper, Arugham Bay, Middle Finger, Avirate, KUR, Conscience and Otara Collection.
