Manav Gangwani has been missing from the fashion circles over the last year, including skipping fashion weeks, launches and the parties that followed. Rumours abounded that the revival of his label was just idle talk. But all the speculation and gossip was put to rest in grand style by the designer, who presented a spectacular couture show at the Hyatt Regency in Delhi.
The black-tie event introduced a reinvented version of the label, called MG Crest. The collection was called “Seven”, and depicted seven colours — pink, yellow, lavender, ivory, aqua, gold and green — and a generous dose of Swarovski. The collections included a range of Traditional and contemporary styles like Sarees, Kaftans, Anarkalis and Lehengas.
