The services of famous Indian designer Manav Gangwani were called upon by supermodel Kendra Spears and her fiance Prince Rahim Aga Khan, son of the Aga Khan, who is the Imam of over 15 million Shia Muslims, for the design of their wedding outfits.
Gangwani certainly didn't disappoint, and created for Spears a pre-draped sari paired with a traditional blouse featuring intricate jamewar hand embroidery. For the prince, the designer created a classic sherwani made of pure silk brocade teamed with an off-white shirt and trousers. Both bride and groom wore ivory-coloured garments.
The couple was introduced to the designer by international supermodel Naomi Campbell, whom Kendra Spears thanked via Twitter after the ceremony.
