The second day of the ongoing India International Jewellery Week 2013 was inspired by the "Great Indian Wedding Extravaganza". Designers Sonam and Paras Modi showcased their regional wedding collection in four parts, in collaboration with the Gitanjali Jewels. The show started with a traditional Bihu Dance from Assam and a wedding collection inspired from the Assamese culture.
Rajasthan's traditional Ghoomar dance followed to represent the Royal Rajasthani collection, characterized by intricate gotta-patti designs on ghaghra choli's. The third part of the show saw Kuchipudi dance performance and a white and gold collection for the Andhra bride. Finally, a special Punjabi tadka was showcased with models doing bhangra on the ramp in traditional Punjabi bridal pieces.
Bollywood beauty Neha Dhupia walked the catwalk as a showstopper in a beautiful red-white and green lehanga embellished with heavy zardosi work.
