Actress Ayesha Kapur is in the limelight these days with her return on the big screen, her own accessory line and staying humble despite all her achievements at such a young age!

The child starrer in the popular film Black in an interview with DNA India talks about how she has grown as an actor. She does admit that it’s hard, as actors do always tend to doubt themselves as when you’re doing great films and known for a great performance like hers its hard staying grounded and sometimes when people criticise performances it’s important to keep strong. The actress has now bagged a role with premier production house- Yash Raj Films.

She also mentions that she met Sanjay Leela Bhasali recently and the director has not changed at all. She says she remembers her whole experience during the film Black vividly as it was a significant time in her life.

Apart from acting, she says that designing accessories is also her passion. Her brand is called Ayesha accessories and is four years old and she is expanding her accessories collection. The brand sells jewellery and bags even though the bag range is more limited.

She launched a pearl collection that was inspired by the television serial Two Broke Girls and the brand even has a collection for boys. She further mentions that the brand in spunky, fun and affordable and meant for people that love experimenting and are lively and young at heart.

The actress says that she is increasingly inspired by items she sees on the streets in Tokyo and is extremely fond of street shopping. She believes it is important to be observant.

Ayesha is now also connecting to her traditional Indian roots that she will incorporate in her brand using a fusion of western and Indian sensibilities.
