Shane and Falguni Peacock have carved a niche for themselves for glamorous and stunning dresses. Their recent collection at the BMW India Bridal Fashion Week 2014 was no exception and had a touch of Rock 'n' Roll for the un-conventional bride.
The collections featured cascading draped in beautiful tones and stunning embroidery. The styles ranged from the tradditional Sarees, Lehengas to biker jackets. "We look forward to the next edition of BMW IBFW in Delhi. Delhi is always an important market for designers to showcase their collection specially when it comes to bridal wear. BMW IBFW provides the perfect platform to designers and is timed just before brides start their trousseau shopping for the upcoming wedding season.", said the designer.
The show was called 'Nuit Sauvage', a very clear indication of the direction of the show. Shane Peacock said, "Sauvage means wild and Nuit means night in French. We wanted some inspirational traditional Indian designs and mixed it with something different,". He added, "We didn't want to do typical dupattas and cholis. So, we used jerseys instead of usual blouses, and capes instead of dupattas. The ethos remained Indian, but we just changed the silhouette a bit. "It's for the trendy, sporty and young bride."
