Pulkit Samrat and Shweta Rohira's Wedding Celebrated
12 th Nov 2014

What a beautiful period a wedding is: romantic, hopeful and magiccal. But the question we are all are interested in, is which Bollywood star took the big step this time?

Well finally it was their turn: Pulkit Samrat and Shweta Rohira, on the third of November, tied the knot in the beautiful setting of Goa. We all remember Pulkit’s first appearence in the serial Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and his following performances in many Bollywood movies such as Bittoo Boss and O Teri. Shweta on the other hand is in charge of her own boutique, and counts amongst her past experience, her stint as a freelance journalist. Indeed the two met because of her job and her mother’s interference!

It was the during the period that Pulkit was doing Kyunki that Shweta’s mother asked her to do an interview with him; they became friends and after some time started to go out. As he said, maybe she is not his first girlfriend, but for sure she is the last one! They really seem made for each other, funny and smart they chose a wedding card designed with a fairytale background and a series of scenes picturing caricatures of the couple in different situations.

Also the wedding, according to the voices, was beautiful and fun: he was wearing a golden sherwani with a gorgeous sehra, while she wore a stunning traditional pink lehenga.

His outfits were created by Ashley Rebello, who is the personal stylist of Salman Khan and Shweta Rohira is his “rakhi sister”. Among Ashley’s dresses for the ceremonies, a chequered kurta with a sleeveless pinkish red Nehru jacket for the mehendi, a blue velvet suit with a white shirt and coordinated bow for the reception and finally for the wedding an amazing gold sherwani with a gold dhoti and decorated with zardosi. Salman Khan showed up with a blue kurta and a saffron pagdi that made him look incredibly handsome too.

But now, the more interesting part: which Bollywood celebrity was present at the ceremony? Obvously Salman Khan and his Khandan, Arbaza Khan, Sohail Khan and Atul Agnihotri, were all invited, but moreover Daisy Sha, Eli Avram and Ritesh Sidwani didn't miss the outstanding ceremony.

Twitter was full of congratulations for the new couple: Farhan Aktar and Riteish Deshmukh are just few of the ones that congratulated the couple on the social media network.
